Santa Came!

Remember this post? Well, I guess I was a good girl this year :) this year because I did get my wish delivered to my front door...a couple days after Christmas, but that is ok! Thanks, Santa!

I'm sure you've figured out by now that I was asked to do a review of a product from the good people at the CSN stores. I happily agreed to review a food processor because after my cooking the week before Christmas I realized it would be really nice to have such a luxury when making some things.
I really do like this food processor because it is compact, without too many different parts, but also has a large 10 cup capacity. I used the processore for the first time as I prepared for my New Years Eve party. I had a deliciously wonderful menu:
Sausage Pinwheels
Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers
Beef Brisket Fajitas
Homemade Pico de Gallo
Homemade Guacamole
Queso
Rice
Beans
Coconut Cupcakes
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
PetiFores
Punch
Champagne
This is the making of the jalapeno poppers...this recipe is from The Pioneer Woman's New Cookbook....so delicious!!

You should wear cute, pink gloves when seeding the peppers so you don't burn your eyes later!

This is the making of sausage pinwheels...just roll some sausage over a roll of crescent dough, roll up, slice, and bake!

All the grub!!

Girl, I need a food processor too. I use the blender but it's not as easy to clean.

Your food spread for the party looks SOOOOO good. I've never made sausage pinwheels. Did you put in the sausage on the dough raw?
