summer days

I've said before that Molly loves all forms of water.  She especially loves spending our mornings in the backyard with her little swimming pool and 'make shift' pool slide!  She goes up and down about 700 times which makes for a tired girl at nap time!
She's so cute in all of her swimsuits...she has about 6 or 7 I think but most of them were yard sale finds and hand me downs from Madison.  I tried to keep this hat on her head because she had little pink lines on her scalp wear the sun had burnt her parts.  I forgot to put sunscreen on her head.  But, every other part of her little body (exposed to the sun) looks like a little brown beaver...oh to have skin that naturally tanned!!
 And the hat is off..
Always so happy!

Real determination
I made it!
The itsy bitsy spider...
An airplane
 A bird

Cutest kid ever...but I'm a bit biased!! ha!
We had Molly's first photo shoot on Thursday morning.  I had a wonderful photographer, Angela Crutcher, come to the house to take some casual, candid shots of Ms. Molly.  I have a feeling I'm in big trouble because she looked so darn cute!  I cannot wait to see the results.  This was one of her "wardrobe" changes...

This outfit came from a store on Etsy called Petite Poire.  I have looked at it for a long time and waited until I was actually in China to buy it so I would get the size correct.
I took these quick snapshots before the photographer got there.
And finally, I just had to post these because she looked so cute this afternoon in her red...
Looking for something to break...
Yes, she found it!  My antique milk glass candy dish.  I have had a flower vase to match...but it has already been broken along with my beautiful antique glass lamp shade that she shattered last week!  We are becoming child proof!! ha!
Guilty!!
I'm using nap time today to try and get all of my pictures uploaded and ordered.  I do not have an actual photo of my child {except for the blog}!  That is the bad thing about technology/blogs/computers.  Now that my pictures are on my computer I never actually print them!  I have got to get a better system for this.  What do you do?  Currently I'm using Snapfish, but would go to other sites if they were any better/faster in uploading them.  I am attempting to scrapbook some albums for her from our trip to China and her first year home.  Beyond that I probably will just try to keep pictures in yearly albums.  Photo storage/organization is always a dilemma.  If you have any pointers, please share!

So cute!!! I bet you are in trouble with the pics--you'll be a real sucker! Understand the breaking things too. We once bought furniture that looked "beaten up" already. We have managed to scan or upload all of our photos from the time Cullen was born. We have printed many of them in album books of different sizes when we used Kodak. The service "lays out" the photos for you. A little more expensive, but kids love to look at them.

I really like the red paisley. That girl is a true fashionista. It does hurt when some of those things get broken. I love looking at how happy your Molly seems to be.

If you have a Costco near you, they are cheap and GREAT quality. They are very comparable to shutterfly and snapfish, only they are ready in an hour (or you can have the mailed which obviously takes longer!)

That pink outfit is precious! I've been following your blog since you were in China, I also follow quite a few other families who've adopted abroad- I have to say- Molly has adjusted MUCH better than all of the other children. She is the only one who has a smile on her face since the very beginning. You are doing a great job Momma!

I love Shutterfly - you can order an album. It's not as nice as scrabbooking but I don't scrabbook (no patience!). I've ordered several albums from shutterfly of our various vacations - the print the pics right on the album pages, you pick the page layouts, can add captions. It's great!

Okay, I hope you don't mind, but I am soooo going to that site and getting an outfit like that. Too cute!!! Love it and love keeping up with your family!

Love shutterfly books. I make them for my kids and they love them too. Sorry about all your childproofing woes! It's hard to welcome a child into your home who is mobile and DETERMINED. :) PIctures are great! Off to check out that etsy shop!

I have been following your blog since just before you got Molly. You and Molly are both so beautiful. Congrats on a perfect match. I pray the Lord will bless you with His choicest blessings.

I am a Mom of bio and adopted children and I am also a retired teacher. Keep up your great work with Molly and keep enjoying her.
