just wondering...

when did it become ok to trick or treat with a king size pillow case instead of a small candy bag?
why is it ok to take your kids out trick or treating two nights in a row just because Halloween is on a Sunday and some places said you could go either night?  not both!
why would some groups of (older) kids came to our house twice in the same night.
why would kids think it's ok to take handfuls of candy from my candy bowl?
or tell me which candy they wanted instead of just taking what was given?
as the night went on and i ran out of candy, some turned their noses on my remaining 'smarties'...i should have given them a stalk of celery instead!

Unfortunately we have become a selfish greedy society. I am always appalled when children worse yet adults act like this. Aaron is a minority in this group

I also have to mention that Molly has quite a following here at my work place. We have been following your udpates since you left for China. We all think Molly is just adorable and that you are awesome with your blog page. One of my managers saw you at the doctor's office when you were having Mollys cast removed, she was there having her son's removed (his fell off also) but, she didnt want to seem like a stalker and just come up to you. Small world.

I agree that kidsa re becoming greedy and brazen. I dole out the candy and do not let them choose. If it looks like we have a lot, I give a few pieces. if we are running low, I give one. And I remind them to say thank you as well:)
